Mission of Trellis Literary Corporation

The purpose of the Trellis Literary Corporation is to be a nonprofit private
foundation which can publish, print, and distribute materials that foster the
appreciation of the fundamentals and craft of writing in the English language; provide
a forum for learning, research, and sharing of literature; and help writers of all ages
find a voice for original, creative expression.
Immanuel Kant wrote:  “In all beautiful art the essential thing is form.”  Just as a
trellis provides support and form for the growth of a plant to become stronger and
more beautiful, so the Trellis Literary Corporation shall provide support and form for
the growth of writers’ language skills so that their writing will become stronger and
more beautiful.  This corporation will offer writers the opportunity to develop a solid
knowledge of the English language through education and practice in the
conventions of poetry.
